DERMAPLANING -30 min £30
DERMAPLANING
Dermaplaning is a safe, straightforward procedure that exfoliates the outer layers of the skin.
The treatment removes peach fuzz hair and any dirt and oil build-up in the hair follicles, which often occurs if you have excess hair on your face.
Dermaplaning has been used for many years but has recently become popular as a must-have celebrity treatment.
DERMAPLANING FACIAL
Up to 60 min. £55
A full and thorough consultation is carried out before your treatment begins. Your facial will include a gentle foam cleanse, this is to remove surface impurities and make-up and also to help regulate the PH levels in the skin. An Enzyme exfoliating peel is applied to the nose & decollete to dissolve dead skin cells and refine the skin. Once the skin is clean and free from impurities the Dermaplane exfoliation is carried-out. Following the procedure an intensive, vitamin drenched, cool moisture mask is applied to strengthen the skins immune system. Whilst the cooling mask takes effect you will be offered a choice of hand or scalp massage. Following the removal of the coolness mask a deep-penetrating SPF50 moisturiser is applied for post procedure protection.
POST FACIAL-CARE
The number one thing to remember after a Dermaplane facial is that your skin will be much more sensitive to the sun and other environmental factors. While this is true of any facial, this is especially important after a Dermaplane facial as a deeper level of exfoliation has occurred. Ensure you are using SPF protection on your face immediately after the procedure and reapply often to keep your skin radiant and healthy.
MICRONEEDLING

What Is Microneedling?
Microneedling works by stimulating the production of new collagen in the skin. This is achieved by puncturing the dermis with microscopic needles. The treatment utilises the skins ability to heal itself, in turn triggering the production of new collagen. In addition to treating pores, fine wrinkles, loss of elasticity, minor scarring (including acne scarring) and sun damage it also enables topical products to penetrate deeper into the skin, increasing their effectiveness.
Microneedling Benefits
Microneedling has a whole host of benefits, including:
Stimulating collagen production
Improving skin texture
Reducing fine-lines and wrinkles
Improving acne scarring
Stimulating collagen production
Smoothing and firms skin
Treating pigmentation
How Does Microneedling Work?
Collagen is a protein that gives our skin its structure, working like a netting to hold skin cells together. It also gives skin a smooth and youthful appearance, as we have it in abundance when we are young. As we age, collagen starts to breakdown, which can lead to fine lines and wrinkles.
As the skin begins to repair itself, it turbo-charges the body’s natural ability to produce collagen. The tiny needles used in the procedure create microscopic channels in the dermis that stimulate that healing process.
The procedure improves skin texture, reduces the appearance of scars and creates a more youthful tone. It’s no surprise that this treatment has been hailed as a non-invasive way to achieve youthful, dewy looking skin.
“A Breakthrough treatment delivering line and blemish-free skin”

Microneedling For Acne
Microneedling can be particularly effective when it comes to minimising the appearance of acne scars.
That’s because the process encourages your skin to produce collagen to help heal the tiny wounds from the needle. This collagen production can help smooth the appearance of acne scars, leading to smoother-looking skin.
However, it’s not suitable for use on active acne as the needles will spread the bacteria in any inflammation, pimples and pustules, prolonging your breakout and potentially making it worse.

ABOUT ME

Finding a way to get the best for your skin
I'm Ildiko, skin care and facial therapist working in Torquay.
As a skincare specialist Iam responsible for helping people bring out the natural beauty of their skin. Though some people think of skincare as pertaining only to facials, skincare specialists actually work on all parts of the body to clean, restore, and beautify the skin.
Beyond providing skincare services, also strive to help the clients change their skincare habits such that their skin has an improved appearance over the long-term. This can involve anything from providing massage therapy to recommending skincare products to advising clients how to properly clean their skin, apply makeup, and overcome common skin problems.
